{"id":2849315,"version":0,"headline":"Malaysia's FGV expands B100 biodiesel trial","dateModified":"2026-07-08T14:43:08Z","datePublished":"2026-07-08T11:28:39Z","articleBody":"<article><p class=\"lead\">Integrated Malaysian agribusiness firm FGV expanded its 100pc biodiesel (B100) trial from vehicle applications to plantation operations to test unblended palm-based biodiesel in real-world situations, it said on 7 July.</p><p>The pilot project will be carried out over the next six months at the Tun Abdul Razak Agricultural Research Centre's (PPPTAR) estate in Jerantut, involving 17 units of machinery such as tractors, agricultural machinery, power generators and four-wheel-drive vehicles.</p><p>FGV previously launched a four-month trial in July 2024 using B100 fuel in its vehicle fleet.</p><p>Within the phased project implementation, individual assets will be monitored for fuel consumption, engine performance, operational reliability, maintenance requirements and fuel quality.
